Industrial website

In the industrial sector, a website is not only a business card, but also one of the main proofs of reliability and professional credibility. A well-built, search engine optimised website can help you to be found and convince potential business partners.

The industrial sector has specific requirements for a digital presence. A professionally designed industrial website is not only your company’s online business card, but an integral part of your business strategy. In the B2B sector, customers’ decision-making processes are longer and more complex, so a platform that presents all the necessary information in a clear and understandable way is essential.

A well-designed website not only showcases your products and services, but also conveys credibility, builds trust and helps potential partners to make sure that your company is the right choice for them. In the industry, expertise and reliability are what sell – and these are the values that a modern, customised website reinforces.

Main objectives of an industrial website

Building trust

In the industrial sector, decision-makers expect a company’s website to reflect its expertise and reliability. A well-structured website with a modern design sends the message that your company takes its customers and partners seriously.

Information

Industrial products and services often require technical details and specifications. A well-designed website makes this information not only accessible, but also easy to understand, supporting customer orientation.

Contact

B2B customers often carry out a longer preliminary orientation. A website is designed to make contacting them easy, for example by providing contact information, forms or clear contact information.

Professional industrial website development

Industrial companies often have specialized products, information related to manufacturing processes, or industry certifications that require a detailed yet easy-to-understand presentation.

Custom website design and development

I create custom-designed and feature-rich websites tailored to the needs of the industrial sector.

Search engine optimization (SEO and AIO)

Whether users search for your site on Google or an AI-powered search engine, it’s crucial to rank among the top results. I build the technical foundation to make this happen.

Modern and responsive design

I don’t create dull, template-based websites. Your new, modern website will look perfect on all devices – desktops, tablets, and smartphones alike.

B2B marketing perspective

Every business website ultimately aims to drive sales. That’s why I approach the entire design and development process with a strong focus on marketing.

Key features

Employer branding

Integrate online application, send applications by email or to a database where you can digitally track the recruitment process.

Sales support

Your sales team will also be supported by online features to filter leads and content to “warm up” interest.

News or blog page

Professional and PR articles or a blog, which will also increase the SEO value of the site and its expert status.

Built-in forms, sign up forms

Forms that can be linked to either a CRM system or a newsletter system. You can also use forms to contact us, request a quote, apply for a job.

Connection with other systems

There are almost endless possibilities, whether you want to send data or measure page performance.

Page measuring results

Google Analytics isn’t the only way to measure the effectiveness of your website, there are many other systems. You can even integrate video monitoring into your site.

Template or custom development?

Websites created with page builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi) can be a good choice for startups or hobby sites that lack an established brand identity or service structure. However, I don’t recommend them for professional use.

Fully custom development is rarely necessary and is best suited for unique functionalities that cannot be achieved with existing tools.

The most common and optimal solution is a WordPress-based website. Its advantages include:

  • Customizable and user-friendly interface: A WordPress admin panel is flexible and easy to manage, and I provide training to ensure you can handle it independently.
  • Support for custom features: If unique functionality is required, it can be implemented without needing to code the entire site from scratch.
  • No ongoing programming expertise needed: Once completed, the website can be easily updated and managed without special technical knowledge.

How does an industrial website support your sales team?

A modern industrial website plays a critical role in the sales process. Rather than requiring the sales team to explain all fundamental details, the website provides customers with the necessary information, helping them approach the team as informed decision-makers. This enables the sales team to focus on answering specific questions and presenting tailored offers, accelerating the sales cycle.

By integrating analytical tools and CRM systems, I help turn every interaction into valuable business insights. This not only provides precise data but also strengthens client relationships.

Where will your website traffic come from?

Online traffic doesn’t appear on its own, but with a well-planned strategy and the right tools, you can steadily increase your website’s visitor numbers.

Technical SEO is one of the most effective ways to generate free traffic for your website. It includes optimizing your site’s loading speed, fixing broken links, using proper meta data, and building a logical structure and content hierarchy.

Google remains the most important source of traffic for industrial websites. Since most potential clients start their research there, it’s essential that your site is optimized for relevant keywords and phrases.

AI-based search engines, such as ChatGPT and other artificial intelligence tools, open up new dimensions for traffic generation. I optimize your site for these as well.

Catalog webshop

Using webshop functionalities, we can create an online catalog that works like a webshop but does not allow direct purchases. Instead, it enables customers to request quotes easily.

How is a catalog webshop different from a traditional e-commerce site?

  • Optional price display: Catalog webshops don’t require price listings, which is ideal for industrial products with variable pricing or those requiring custom quotes.
  • Detailed product information: All essential technical details, specifications, and usage guidelines for products are readily available on the site.
  • Customer-centric design: Clients can effortlessly request quotes or contact the sales team directly from product pages.

Let’s work together!

I don’t just build websites, I think in terms of complex systems. I provide solutions that make companies’ operations simpler, more transparent and more efficient.

I create custom designed and developed websites, mainly for industrial companies. I worked for more than 10 years in supply chain for a multinational industrial company, so I have experience in industrial factory operations.

My process

The process of building a website:

01

PREPARATION

In the first meeting, we clarify the purpose of the site, the target audience, the profile of the business and its style. We assess the competitors and discuss the message the site should convey. We review what visual and written content is available.

02

PLANNING

The design starts with the wireframe. This is where we determine where we want to put content on the page and how much space it will take up. In addition to design, you also need to keep in mind the web ergonomics of the website. I create responsive designs so that it looks right on all devices.

03

WEB GRAPHICS

On the completed wireframe, the design of the company’s corporate identity elements should be drawn, taking care to match the colours, fonts and logo. I will first create the main page design, and once it is approved, I will start on the sub-pages. Everything is created in 3 views, mobile, tablet and desktop.

04

SITEBUILDING

After the design phase is complete, I start coding and setting up all. I code the site based on the web design, and if I’m building a WordPress-based site, I also install the plugins and set up the admin interface where the user can later edit the content of the website.

05

TESTING AND LAUNCH

I test all pages before the launch to correct any initial small errors. I also do test purchases for webshops. I check the look and feel of the site on mobile, tablet and desktop. I will launch the site and teach you how to use it if required. To measure the site’s traffic, I hook up the necessary metrics and link the site to the company’s social networking pages.

06

SUPPORT

I provide ongoing support on demand, whether it’s maintenance or content management. I also monitor the performance of the site and make changes as necessary to ensure optimal functionality.
